CHRIS CARE  CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chris Care manages Audeo Partners’ financial forecasting for investment and development opportunities, finance and asset management, taxation, and all general accounting.

 

Chris has over 25 years of finance and accounting experience in real estate, as well as extensive experience with asset management. Chris's expertise includes tax preparation, auditing, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling for real estate projects, real estate portfolios, and individual owners of real estate. Chris has led asset management for 5,000 residential units of both market and affordable multi-family housing in Maryland, D.C. and Virginia. Chris remains a manager and trustee of multiple high net worth portfolio trusts.

Prior to working with Audeo Partners, Chris served as the Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President, and Head of Asset Management at MidCity Development, after also spending time in the role of Director of Accounting. Prior to his promotion to MidCity Development, Chris worked as a lead accountant for MidCity’s sister company, Edgewood Management. His career began as an accountant at Cohen Reznik where he specialized in auditing. Each of these experiences has provided Chris with substantial knowledge of the accounting and asset management needs for multi-family properties and new and re-development projects.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from University of Maryland and Master of Science in Taxation from University of Baltimore.

personal note

Chris spends most of his free time exploring the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and traveling with his wife and two children. He can also regularly be found reading books on long term personal finance strategies or cooking up a chef inspired meal in the kitchen (usually Mickey Mouse waffles).
